Oduševio me svojim obuzimajućim stilom pisanja.

Malma Station – Alex Schulman

Malma Station follows the lives of several characters through three time periods: a married couple whose marriage is in crisis, a single father and his daughter, and a woman following her mother’s last steps. The plot sounds simple, but when human lives are at stake, especially children’s lives, nothing is simple. How the characters are connected and what secrets they carry, we gradually discover as we read, and only at the very end does everything fit together like one big puzzle.

Malma Station is the first novel by Alex Schulman that I came across and it completely won me over. He blew me away with his engaging writing style. He created characters that are so real that I felt their every emotion. Characters that you will not forget and that you will want to hug tightly, even though you often disagree with their actions.

The author has described a generational trauma that will surely make you think and leave you at the end with immense sadness in your heart and a lot of questions to think about. How many of us some situations, just small fragments in our long lives, can shape and change the course of everything? Can we end this pain?

This wonderful novel about love, loss and family relationships is a work you should not miss because novels like this enable us to understand why some people are the way they are.
