Govori o iznenadnom pronalasku ljubavi kada to najmanje očekujemo, o gubitku, o oporavku, o obitelji, onoj pravoj i onoj pronađenoj i prijateljima.

Forever, Interrupted – T.J.Reid

In “Forever, Interrupted” we follow Elsie who, after falling in love with Ben and marrying him soon after, faces the sudden tragedy of his death, which leads her to an emotional breakdown and unforeseen relationships with his family.

“Forever, Interrupted” is a very emotional book with a beautiful love story. A love story that is so intense that it takes you away and throws you into the world of Taylor Jenkins Reid in a second. A love story that, as the author herself says, is like a supernova (I love this comparison).

It talks about suddenly finding love when we least expect it, about loss, about recovery, about family, the real one and the one we find, and about friends. It is read with a lump in a throat and eyes full of tears.

“Forever, Interrupted” irresistibly reminded me of “One Day” by David Nicholls, one of my favourite books, but it did not surpass it. I liked it, but it did not blow me away. The middle part of the novel was a bit slower, which somewhat affected my overall impression. However, the author once again proved her ability to evoke a wide range of emotions in the reader, which will remain in my memory for a long time.

The series is also coming to Netflix soon, so hurry to bookstores and libraries because my recommendation is always to read the book before watching 😊
