Uletjela sam u ovu knjigu bez ikakvih očekivanja – toliko vjerujem odabiru @Sonatina naklade da često niti ne čitam o čemu se radi. I nisam pogriješila! Ova knjiga je još jedan dokaz da se ne treba oslanjati isključivo na Goodreads ocjene – ukusi su nam doista različiti. Unatoč nešto nižoj prosječnoj ocjeni, mene je potpuno zaokupila: napeta, intrigantna i teško ju je ispustiti iz ruku.
Jedini izazov mogao bi biti veći broj likova i vremenskih skokova pa ponekad nije odmah jasno koga pratimo i u kojem smo vremenu. Ako ste navikli juriti kroz trilere, ovdje ćete možda morati usporiti. Meni je to zapravo odgovaralo – osjećala sam se kao da i sama istražujem misterij.
Za ljubitelje trilera s nekoliko odličnih obrata (koji su mene, naravno, potpuno iznenadili), Uljez na vjenčanju nudi napetu i zabavnu vožnju do samoga kraja.

I rushed into this book without any expectations – I trust the selection of this publisher so much that I often don’t even read what it’s about. And I wasn’t wrong! This book is yet another proof that you shouldn’t rely solely on Goodreads ratings – our tastes really are different. Despite the slightly lower average rating, it completely captivated me: tense, intriguing and hard to put down.
The only challenge could be the larger number of characters and time jumps, so sometimes it’s not immediately clear who we’re following and what time we’re in. If you’re used to rushing through thrillers, you might have to slow down here. That actually suited me – I felt like I was investigating the mystery myself.
For fans of thrillers with a few great twists (which, of course, completely surprised me), The Stranger at the Wedding offers a tense and entertaining ride to the very end.
