Nadia svojom pričom prikazuje svu brutalnost života u Afganistanu pod mudžahedinima, talibanima i Amerikancima.

Jer Nadia će učiniti baš to. Oduševit će vas svojom snagom, borbenošću i optimizmom. Nadijina priča slomiti će vam srce, ali će vas i učiniti boljom osobom koja će sutra malo više cijeniti svoj život i shvatiti da većina problema zapravo i nisu problemi.

Nemojte preskočiti ovaj roman!

El secret del meu turbant – Nadia Ghulam

Nadia Ghulam, in collaboration with journalist Agnès Rotger, will tell her story. The story of a girl from Afghanistan who attracted attention after life forced her to live as a boy.

With her story, Nadia shows all the brutality of life in Afghanistan under the Mujahideen, Taliban and Americans. A life that is so different from the one we know that it sounds unreal.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and not being allowed to go to school, to work, to the doctor, dentist, that you have to be covered from head to toe and that all the decisions in your life are made by men.

Imagine that since childhood you have been surrounded by so much human suffering and loss that one day you write about them and leave the reader with the impression that there is no end to them.

Imagine accepting it all and getting up after every bump and fall that life throws at you because there is no other option.

Imagine a little girl who doesn’t play with dolls and a ball, who doesn’t spend hours fantasizing about her first crush, a little girl who lives the life of an adult to feed her mother, sick father and two sisters.

I would like to say that Nadia surprised me, but unfortunately she only confirmed what I had already read a lot about. And even though I knew most of it, it did not diminish my sadness, nor my amazement with this novel. Because Nadia will do just that. She will amaze you with her strength, combativeness and optimism. Nadia’s story will break your heart, but it will also make you a better person who will appreciate their life a little more tomorrow and realize that most problems aren’t really problems.

Do not skip this novel!
