Divna Molly ponovno je s nama – prepoznatljiva po svom neobičnom ponašanju, beskrajno simpatična i zabavna. Obožavam takve otkačene likove koji unose toplinu i humor u priču. Iako sam s veseljem dočekala novi nastavak, čitanje je bilo pomalo gorko-slatko jer sam znala da se naše druženje bliži kraju.
Iako mi je drugi dio bio nijansu uzbudljiviji, i ovaj nastavak me osvojio – ponajviše zahvaljujući bakinoj priči u prošlosti. Volim romane koji se odvijaju u više vremenskih razdoblja jer donose dinamiku i dodatnu dubinu. Ovdje je ta prošlost ispričana s puno emocija, donoseći priču o ljubavi, nasljeđu i potrazi za vlastitim identitetom.
Tajna iz dnevnika je vrlo šarmantan cosy mystery, idealan za opuštene ljetne dane! Nježan, topao i s dozom napetosti – savršen za sve koji vole lagane, ali emotivne kriminalističke priče.

In the latest instalment of the series, Molly prepares for her upcoming wedding but also participates in organizing various events at the hotel, including the filming of the show Hidden Treasures. When she shows the hosts a few of her grandmother’s valuables, her life suddenly turns upside down – she is again at the centre of a crime, which this time leads her to well-hidden family secrets…
The wonderful Molly is back with us – recognizable for her unusual behaviour, endlessly likable and funny. I love such quirky characters who bring warmth and humour to the story. Although I was happy to welcome the new sequel, reading it was a bit bittersweet because I knew that our friendship was coming to an end.
Although the second part was a bit more exciting for me, this sequel also won me over – mostly thanks to the grandmother’s story in the past. I love novels that take place in different time periods because they bring dynamics and additional depth. Here, that past is told with a lot of emotion, bringing a story about love, heritage and the search for one’s own identity.
The Maid’s Secret is a very charming cosy mystery, ideal for relaxed summer days! Gentle, warm and with a touch of suspense – perfect for anyone who loves light but emotional crime stories.
