Rezultat? Tečaj s HR-ovcem Cliffom. A kad Jolene slučajno dobije pristup privatnim porukama cijelog ureda… zabava tek počinje!
Jedva čekam sljedeće naslove ove autorice!

“Rhonda gives me a disapproving look. Why is it so socially acceptable to discuss a human who has been pushed or cut out of a body, and somehow unprofessional of me to simply work instead of holding a tiny person I don’t even know while they’re wearing something designed to contain the feces coming out of them?”
I Hope This Finds You Well – Natalie Sue
Jolene sees her colleagues as a necessary evil. With the help of a “little trick”, she often sends them what she really thinks about them along with her official emails. Everything goes smoothly until one such email, by mistake, causes chaos. The result? A course with HR guy Cliff. And when Jolene accidentally gains access to the entire office’s private messages… the fun is just beginning!
This wacky, funny and incredibly realistic story about office relationships, loneliness, friendship and love offers much more than the expected romantic comedy. Underneath the humor are serious topics: mental health, trauma, addictions and terminal illness. The novel is funny and deeply emotional at the same time.
“I’ve spent more time with these people than anyone. We’re forced to work together in close proximity every day, which really means we’re forced to live together. And it’s the living involved. The sheer humanity of that, which could never be professional, or even normal. We’re all dry flecks of skin turning to dust and breathing each other up. It’s too much.”
The idea is fantastic, the pace is a bit slower, and the focus is on the characters and their development. Jolene is a character full of flaws, but so authentic that you can’t resist her. You may not agree with everything she says or does, but you’ll still root for her happy ending.
Conclusion? You’ll feel great when you finish this book. Exactly what we all need. 😊
I can’t wait for the next titles from this author!
“So many office situations show no regard for people with anxiety, yet we’re the bad guys if we can’t cope.”
