Svaki put sam nevoljko ostavljala čitanje i jedva čekala nastaviti.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder – Holly Jackson
Pippa Fitz-Amobi is in her senior year of high school and chooses to investigate the murder of Andie Bell for her research paper. As far as the police are concerned, the case is closed. The killer committed suicide and confessed everything in his farewell message. But Pippa soon discovers that the story is much more complicated than it seems at first…
Young adult novels aren’t something I normally reach for, but after so many recommendations from people whose opinions I really care about, I had to check out what it was all about. Iiiiiiiiii…….I discovered a fantastic book! Suspenseful from the first page, full of twists and turns and unexpected endings. Each time I reluctantly left reading and couldn’t wait to continue. I enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. And in all that fun and excitement, I didn’t even realize how much the characters got under my skin and how much I loved them – until the very end, when I suddenly burst into tears. Even now I don’t know why exactly, but I think that the author managed to create extremely real characters that you simply have to love and whose fate you have to sympathize with.
I always say that I can’t read thrillers and crime stories again because I already know who’s guilty so there’s no tension, but along with Osman’s series, this is another book for which that rule doesn’t apply.
