Lucy Score zavoljela sam uz serijal Knockemout zbog čega sam jedva dočekala novi roman, novi maleni grad i novu romansu.

Story of My Life – Lucy Score

Hazel Hart’s current life is nothing like the romance novels she used to write with ease until recently. A breakup, writer’s block, living in pajamas, and living on deliveries are now her daily routine. Until deadlines catch up with her – Hazel has to move out of her apartment and finish her next novel, and what better place to do that than a small town just like the ones in her novels…

I fell in love with Lucy Score through the Knockemout series, which is why I couldn’t wait for a new novel, a new small town, and a new romance. Story of My Life fulfilled all my expectations. A sweet, strong female character, a strong, grumpy male character, cute and handsome friends, the small town of Story Lake, and spicy scenes for which the author (thankfully) didn’t follow the rules of less is more.

Until the last hundred pages or so, I was convinced that it would be one of my favorite books, but then my attention slowly began to wander, and my interest in the plot waned. I don’t know what happened, but it seems like the plot has become a bit drawn out.

Nevertheless, Story of My Life is everything you need to relax and enjoy this weekend, with a few extra pages, but still quite entertaining. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
