No unatoč tome ja i dalje volim Wikingov pristup i stil pisanja, volim optimizam s kojim ispunjava svoje knjige, obožavam fotografije s kojima ih obogati i baš u svakoj pronađem barem nekoliko savjeta koji me oduševe. Definitivno knjiga koju vrijedi pročitati!

The Art of Danish Living: How to Find Happiness In and Out of Work
Meik Wiking
The latest book of my and the world’s favorite happiness expert reveals the secrets of happiness at work. If we take into account that we spend a third of our lives at work, it is completely clear why Wiking decided this time to investigate the happiness of Danes at work.
The Danes are known as one of the happiest nations, and the same has been shown in the business part of their lives. Almost two-thirds of Danes love their jobs, and even more than half of them claim that they would continue to work even if they didn’t need to. According to Wiking, trust in the state is extremely important for happiness. Danes generally do not know the fear of losing their job because the state welcomes them like a caring parent and makes it possible to look for a new job as carefree as possible.
As much as I don’t want to sound negative and depressing, unfortunately we are far from such carelessness and at times the parts he writes about seemed utopian. Losing a job in Croatia is still one of the biggest fears we face in adulthood, and the issue of covering basic life needs is one of the most important. Citizens’ trust in state institutions is almost non existant, and as long as the situation is like this, there will hardly be any progress.
But despite that, I still love Wiking’s approach and writing style, I love the optimism with which he fills his books, I adore the photos he enriches them with, and in each one I find at least a few tips that delight me. It’s definitely worth reading!
