The Man Who Died Twice
Richard Osman
Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim and their Thursday Murder Club are back in another exciting part of this series. Although they are advanced in years and one would expect them to spend their old age watching soap operas, playing cards and solving crossword puzzles, they are actually solving yet another crime.
Richard Osman has created extremely likable characters that are easy to relate to and that you will quickly begin to empathize with. The Man Who Died Twice is a cosy mystery feel-good book, laced with recognizable British humor that made me laugh out loud, and at the same time it’s tense and interesting, so I couldn’t stop reading.
I was completely won over by the pensioners and I immediately continued hanging out with them in the sequel The Bullet that Missed. If you are looking for a relaxing book that will entertain you at the same time, then this one is more than perfect.
